It was also written for [livejournal.com profile] binnin, because I promised her an HP au oneshot with a concept like this.

Rating: PG
Genre: Romance
Word Count: 6,064

Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] sakuratsukikage at [livejournal.com profile] hetaliasunshine... months ago, but for some reason I forgot to post it here. The story was originally posted here. There are footnotes at the end of the fic. All the ‘quotes’ that separate the sections are from Theodore Roosevelt (as is the title!). There's also a lovely piece of fanart done by [livejournal.com profile] abarero for the story. You can see it HERE.

“Teddy once called this place a grim fairyland,” America noted, and his tone was cheeky. “Don’t know about any fairies, although I guess if there were any…” )

Note: For [livejournal.com profile] abarero at [livejournal.com profile] giripan_xmas. She wanted something based on a bit of kitsune lore, but with Greece and Japan. I'm not going to list the whole prompt here, because it will spoil the story.

He couldn’t rely on the presence of an uncannily intelligent fox forever... )

Rating: PG
Genre: Romance/Humor

Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] sillyputtie at the [livejournal.com profile] hamburger_st summer exchange! And just as a note, this journal now has one hundred watchers. Thank you so, so much. ♥

His garden of English roses always bloomed perfectly every year... )

Title: Unconditional [ FF.NET LINK ]
Pairing/Character(s): Ukraine, Russia, Belarus. Some mild Belarus--->Russia
Rating: PG
Genre: Family/Gen
Word Count: 1,321
Summary: It had been almost twenty years, but she came. She came for him and she came for her, and Ukraine would never stop, no matter the warnings or the words of disagreement from others. There were things so much deeper than politics, deeper than a past that many others would be unable to forgive, things she treasured close to her heart, kept alive by the warmth of cherished memories.
Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] psychoxbreaker at [livejournal.com profile] spasibodedmoroz, the Slavic siblings exchange. S dnyem razhdeniem means ‘Happy Birthday!’ Spasiba means ‘thank you.’

My home is brighter when you are here... )

Title: Perfectly Imperfect [FF.NET LINK]
Pairing/Character(s): AmericaxEngland
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Romance
Word Count: 3,472
Summary: While on their first vacation together as a new couple, England's insecurities come to light. America is not okay with this, and he takes it upon himself to show England exactly the way he sees him.
Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] himitsu_santa. Although it's not relevant to the plot itself for the most part, this fic takes place in the very late 40s or very early 50s. There are some cultural references to the time period, but that's it. This is so fluffy. Oh wow. As noted, it takes place VERY early (as in, about a year) into a new relationship between them.

“Am I… attractive to you?” )

Title: The Victory Kiss [FF.NET LINK]
Pairing/Character(s): EnglandxAmerica
Rating: PG
Genre: Romance
Word Count: 3,353
Summary: England was going to kiss America, and nothing, save the King himself, was going to stop him.
Note: 'England kisses first' was essentially the prompt. This story takes place on Victory in Europe Day- May 8, 1945. And yes, Churchill made a speech from the balcony of the Ministry of Health. There's also a bonus piece of fanart for the story at the end. It was done by [livejournal.com profile] abarero, my beta reader. Written for [livejournal.com profile] hetaliasunshine and originally posted HERE.

He was in love with the daft fool, hamburgers and heroics and barging right into things without thinking and naivety and all... )

Title: Furniture Wars (Or, Why Denmark Really Wants Norway to Love this Lamp) [FF.NET LINK]
Pairing/Character(s): DenmarkxNorway
Rating: PG
Genre: Humor/Romance
Word Count: 1,458
Summary: This lamp was going to blow Norway away. He’d forget IKEA even existed when he saw this beauty beside his sofa.

Title: Early to Rise [FF.NET LINK]
Pairing/Character(s): AmericaxEngland
Rating: PG
Genre: Romance/Humor
Word Count: 1,590
Summary: England has always been a morning person, someone who believes it's best to be up with the dawn. But America has other ideas. Sleeping in? That's what Saturday mornings are for! Now he just needs to convince England of it...
Note: Established relationship, USxUK. Pure, unadulterated fluff.

“It works the same as normal toothpaste, except it’s more awesome and tastes like bubblegum.” )
everythingismagic: (4)
Title: To the Moon and Beyond [FF.NET LINK]
Pairing/Character(s): AmericaxEngland
Rating: PG
Genre: Romance/Humor/Drama
Word Count: 1,381
Summary: He’d always been one to reach for the sky, America had been. Even with his natural cynicism, England couldn’t deny the awe he felt at what he was watching with the other nation. America’s blue eyes welled up as his flag was planted on the surface of another world, and England couldn’t find it in himself to quip at the other country for his display of emotion. He could understand quite well why America felt the way he did.
Note: Established relationship, USxUK. I never did get a fic done for the Fourth of July, but this kind of fills the role. Yesterday was of course, the fortieth anniversary of the Apollo Eleven moon landing, and this fic is about that night in '69. I've always been of the opinion that America is actually really intelligent regarding science and technology, even if he sucks at things like geography. ;)

“A world superpower?” The younger nation smirked. “So awesome Russia is pissing his pants at the thought of me right now?”  )
